In July of 2019, members of SCCIG along with Nicholas Markell went on a mission trip to Standing Rock Indian Reservation in North Dakota. We stayed at the convent and rectory of St. Peter's in Fort Yates and painted at the historic church of St. James in Porcupine, North Dakota. We painted iconic-style Tree of Life around the Crucifix and six other large floral medallions along the side walls of the church. Click on any image to start the slide show.
